The crackle of the wood, the glow against our faces, the silence between our words it all becomes part of the medicine.
That night, the air was cool and still. We sat shoulder to shoulder, wrapped in blankets, the fire dancing between us. Stories began to flow — not planned, not rehearsed — just truth. Some shared laughter that bubbled up from the belly, others spoke through quiet tears. And in those moments, we remembered what it means to be seen.
No judgments. No expectations. Just women — raw, real, and open.
For so long, many of us have carried our pain in silence. We’ve been taught to be strong, to keep going, to hold it all together. But around the fire, those walls begin to fall. The fire doesn’t ask for perfection; it asks for honesty. It listens. It warms. It transforms.
That night, something shifted.
Grief softened.
Laughter returned.
Hearts opened.
It reminded me why I do this work — to create spaces where people can come home to themselves and to each other. The fire, the circle, the sisterhood — they hold power beyond words.
When we gather in this way, we remember that healing isn’t something we do alone. It’s something we do together. Each story becomes a spark for another, each tear a reflection of courage, each shared breath a prayer of remembrance.
So, to the sisters by the fire — thank you. For showing up. For speaking your truth. For reminding us all that healing is not a destination, but a shared journey.
